A striking hybrid Capsicum chinense bred in Italy, featuring peach-colored pods with purple mottling, a dramatic bleeding calyx, and purple-black foliage. It delivers superhot heat with a bright, fruity, peachy flavor.

The Peachgum Tiger Pepper is an unstable but highly ornamental hybrid developed by Enrico Lai of Mojo Peppers in Italy. It results from crossing Bubblegum 7 MAMP (a 7 Pot Bubblegum variant) with Pink Tiger (Bhut Jolokia x Pimenta da Neyde). Pods are long and slightly crumpled, measuring 5-7 cm, starting deep purple or near-black before ripening to a glowing peach hue with purple streaks, splotches, and mottling. A distinctive bleeding calyx extends in a flower-like shape and retains its dark purple color. The plant exhibits gorgeous purple-black foliage and a vigorous, bushy habit, often reaching over 1.5 meters tall with heavy yields. Heat levels range from 80,000 to 350,000 SHU, placing it firmly in the superhot category with a bright, fruity, tropical profile that includes peachy notes, a sharp balanced burn, and the classic complex chinense aroma. It excels in hot sauces, tropical salsas, fresh slicing, and salads. Plants are perennial in pots, thrive in greenhouses or sheltered warm spots, and produce abundantly over a long season. F3 generation plants may show some variation in pod size, color, and heat.
